Your money is held, not handed over
Payment for every order is held securely until you confirm you have received the club and it matches the listing. The seller is not paid before that.
Buyer Protection
Your payment is held until you confirm the club you received matches what was listed. The seller is not paid before that.
Buying a used club from someone you have never met should not require trust in a stranger. It should require a system that makes trust unnecessary — that is what Buyer Protection is.
Your confirmation is the green light
Sellers are paid only after you confirm the club matches its listing. Nothing is released over your head.

Sellers set their own return policy, shown on the listing. Where none is set, our default applies: a club that is materially not as described is eligible for a full refund.
All card processing runs through Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor. Fairway Exchange never stores your full card number.
Shipments on Fairway Exchange include insurance cover, so a club that is lost or damaged in transit is not your loss to absorb.
You check out through Stripe. The money goes into escrow rather than straight to the seller, and stays there for the whole journey.
Sellers are required to ship within 3 business days of a confirmed sale, using a prepaid, tracked label. Tracking updates automatically in the app so you can follow the package.
When it arrives, check it against the listing photos, the condition grade and the specs before you do anything else. This is the moment Buyer Protection exists for.
If it matches, you confirm and the seller's payout is released within 1–2 business days. If something is off, flag it before confirming and we step in.
Do not confirm the order. Confirming is what releases the seller's payout, so the single most important thing you can do is raise the problem first.
Suspect a counterfeit? Report it immediately with the flag button on the listing, or email us. Verified counterfeit listings result in permanent account suspension.
Every purchase on Fairway Exchange. Your payment is held in escrow until you confirm the club you received matches what was listed, so a seller is never paid for an order you have not accepted. If the club arrives materially different from its listing, you can raise it before confirming and we review it.
Contact us within 3 days of delivery through the app or at support@fairwayexchange.com. Include photos of the item as received. We'll resolve it quickly under the Fairway Promise.
Each seller sets their own return policy, visible on the listing. If none is specified, our default policy applies: items materially not as described are eligible for a full refund. We do not accept returns simply because you changed your mind.
Every seller has a profile with their transaction history, ratings, and reviews from past buyers. New seller with no history? No problem — our payment structure protects you. Sellers are only paid out after you confirm the club you received matches what was listed. Your confirmation is the green light. If something's off, flag it before confirming and we'll step in.
